Maiz Mexican is looking for our next Floor supervisor

What to expect

• Extensive in-house training
• Sunday and Mondays off 

Hours: 25 to 38 hours per week  

Responsibilities:

• Managing bookings, either in person, over the phone, or online

• Providing waiting times to customers who are not pre-booked

• Supervising floor staff to ensure the successful operation of the floor, including allocating roles and responsibilities to floor staff before, during and after service, ensuring processes are followed and providing guidance and training to floor staff as necessary.  

• Creating an appropriate atmosphere for guests that’s in line with the restaurant and bar’s image or branding

• Providing a point of contact for customer feedback and helping to resolve any customer issues

• Providing personalised service and assistance for large parties of guests and VIPs

• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house area

• Assisting with the opening and closing of the restaurant

• Learning the food and beverage menu

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 years’ experience, but willing to train the right candidate

- Strong communication and multitasking skills.

- Friendly and positive attitude.

- Ability to work day and evening shifts, including weekends.

- Must have current RSA.

- Full working rights.
